Terra Atlântica is a theme park featuring various attractions based on the regional Atlantic Forest of Penha (SC). Our goal is to entertain, educate, and preserve our local forests and wildlife through activities that remind us of our past and connect us with nature. We support local observation and preservation projects with lots of fun and joy. Terra Atlântica Park covers an area of 1,600 m² and is located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. The park is located in the Armação neighborhood in Penha (SC). Our Mascot: It’s not uncommon to see the tamanduá-mirim (Tamanduá tetradactyla) moving through the trees or on the ground. Also known as the “tamanduá-de-colete” because of a dark marking on its fur that resembles a vest, this mammal is found in all regions and biomes of the country, making it a characteristic member of Brazilian wildlife. This animal plays an essential role in controlling populations of ants and termites, helping to maintain ecological balance. Tamanduás can live in savanna and forest environments, including gallery forests adjacent to savannas and tropical forests. Their good adaptation to these various habitats makes the species present in all biomes across the country. When inactive, they rest in tree hollows, armadillo burrows, or other natural cavities. This species was chosen with great affection to be the park's mascot and will be symbolically present throughout the park! Children aged 0 to 2 years have free entry to Terra Atlântica Park throughout the year! Just present the RG or Birth Certificate at the ticket booth. Low Season (March, April, May, June, August, September, October, November, December) until 23/12/2023: Wednesday to Thursday from 1 PM to 6 PM; Friday to Monday from 9 AM to 6 PM. High Season (July and holiday week): Open every day from 9 AM to 6 PM. Important: For security reasons, at any time, during a non-presential transaction, a photo of the front and back of the original document with a selfie of the cardholder holding the document may be requested.
