Our proposal is to benefit the needy children and remove them from the street, from contact with violence, from drugs and bring them into a family environment. Poor boy from the interior of São Paulo, from the city of São José do Rio Preto, João Batista Sérgio Murad dreamed of being Zorro and working in an amusement park. His father, Alexandre Murad, was a farmer and had a ox cart as a means of transport. He was known in the city as Alexandre do Carro de Boi or Alexandre Carrero. In honor of his father, his great hero of real life, came the inspiration of the artistic name Beto Carrero.

Daring from a young age, Beto Carrero wanted higher flights and set out in search of his dreams accumulating experiences in several areas, until reaching one of them, the construction of the park BETO CARRERO WORLD, inaugurated in December of 1991, in Santa Catarina, in the city of Penha , the place he chose to build a magical world of dreams and fantasies, and also to be his last home (he died in February 2008).

João Batista Sérgio Murad, Beto Carrero, Brazilian cowboy, businessman, animal lover, defender of nature, artist, creator, father and hero, friend of children, simple man, dreamed not only of a world of amusements and enchantments, but especially with a better world for children and adolescents. And with his struggle and work he materialized one more of his dreams. In July 2003 he created the BETO CARRERO INSTITUTE, an institution of philanthropic character, which develops actions through social responsibility projects in the areas of Education and Culture, Health and Sport, Environment and generation of work and income.
GIVING CONTINUITY TO DREAM
Our proposal is to benefit the needy children and remove them from the street, from contact with violence, from drugs and bring them into a family environment. When my father created the BETO CARRERO INSTITUTE, not only to meet an ethical principle of corporate social responsibility, but to truly make a difference in our community, he knew that this would not be his dream. a dream that needed to be shared and desired by many to come true.

Today, we know that part of this dream and the future of many children and adolescents depend on the actions, decisions and choices we make now in our present. Thus, the BETO CARRERO INSTITUTE, with its own headquarters, membership, employees, advisors and Board of Directors, with great commitment has been dedicated to the nobility of the cause of serving, doing more and better, with quality and with social responsibility.

Alexander Von Janke Murad , son of Beto Carrero, is president of JB World Entertainment, main sponsor of the Institute.
